We grow crops in the right region in the right season and farm diversification provides water and climate protection and security.
Our farming footprint covers the Scenic Rim, Southern Downs, Lockyer Valley and Bowen and Ayr in North Queensland.
Our farming network consists of company-owned farms in Kalbar, Tent Hill and Clintonvale, a joint venture with the Jurgens family in North Queensland, and farms owned and run by a handful of local farming families in the Scenic Rim and Lockyer Valley.
Food Safety Accreditation
We have a comprehensive quality and food safety system which covers all aspects of the product journey – from farm to fork. These systems are independently audited.

Kalfresh Harvesting
Kalfresh Harvesting brings together carrot, bean and corn harvesting and trucking into one business to streamline our harvesting and paddock to factory transport operations.
The harvest fleet features industry-leading carrot, bean, corn and onion harvesters, designed to operate in most conditions, which means we can often pick when others cannot.
Kalfresh Transport
Kalfresh manages all local and factory to DC transport, utilising an in-house fleet of trucks and drivers.
In 2007 Kalfresh bought a local transport business from the Beutel family, who had been carting Kalfresh produce to the markets since we started operating.
Gavin and Darren Beutel agreed to stay on and work with Kalfresh and they continue to manage Kalfresh Transport today.
They take great pride in their fleet of Kenworth trucks and the driving team now features Kane Beutel, while Kye Beutel now works in our farming team.
